Electronic Cantilever Gate requiring the use of a unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) by each tenant. PIN numbers are issued only once and become invalid when a tenant moves out.
The Normal gate hours are from 7 AM to 9 PM. Special need tenants, such as commercial tenants, can have longer hours if needed. Regular tenants can request longer access hours on an "as-required" basis.
The facility is covered by
sixteen (16) different surveillance cameras that record activity 24 hours a day. A 30-day backlog of surveillance tapes are retained.
Alarmed units are available, which are armed 24 hours a day. The doors are disarmed only by the entry of the tenant's PIN at the entry gate. The door is re-armed when the tenant enters his/her PIN at the exit gate. All gate activity and alarmed door activity is recorded 24 hours a day on a computer log by date, time and tenant.
Seven (7) Intercom call stations are located around the facility so a tenant may call the office during normal business hours for assistance, questions or problems.
The perimeter is fenced on three sides by a 7-foot chain link fence topped with three strands of barbed wire. The front fence is covered by an attractive 7-foot black iron spear picket fence.
The office and the alarmed
units are covered by an off-site monitored security company, which is activated
whenever the manager is offsite.
There is ample exterior lighting around the facility to provide a comfortable and secure feeling when accessing your unit after daylight hours.
A grounds caretaker lives in large 2 story, beautifully restored 1906 farmhouse, which also serves as the Carriage House Bed & Breakfast.
